To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Technical Support Officer (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible – someone with a good understanding of technical matters and who enjoys communicating directly with our customers., as well as an interest in our machinery and technical solutions.
As the main point of contact for our customers, you will handle technical service enquiries, analyse problems and help our customers find solutions. You will coordinate more complex technical issues with our specialist departments and oversee their resolution until a solution is found.
Your tasks:
- Receiving and processing technical service enquiries from customers and sales partners
- Analysing technical issues based on the customer’s description and resolving enquiries independently within one’s own area of expertise
- Technical support for our customers, including limited remote support
- Communicating and coordinating more complex issues with the relevant specialist departments, in particular Software, Electrical Engineering, Design, Service and Application Engineering
- Ongoing communication with customers regarding the status of their cases, actions taken and next steps
- Coordination and tracking of service cases, feedback and necessary service visits
- Documentation of fault patterns, solutions and service incidents
- Contributing to the further development of our technical service processes and service information
Your profile:
- Completed commercial or technical training (Apprenticeship, technical college, HTL, master craftsman’s examination or equivalent qualification)
- A good understanding of technology and an interest in machinery, automation and technical concepts
- Ability to analyse technical problems in a structured manner and develop solutions
- Experience in technical support, mechanical engineering, automation or a similar role would be an advantage
- Enjoyment of direct communication with (end) customers
- A confident and professional manner when dealing with customers over the telephone and in writing
- Independent, structured and solution-orientated way of working
- Good written and spoken German and English

The minimum gross salary stipulated in the collective agreement is €2,948.85. We offer our staff a salary in line with market rates and performance, depending on their qualifications and experience, which we determine jointly during the interview process and which may exceed the figures set out in the collective agreement.
